This doesn't give us enough to work with or the opportunity to add critical thinking into the mix.  Thanks for opening this up to anyone with an idea, good or bad.  That's how we find real solutions and get our priorities straight.  What doesn't make sense is to keep doing what we've been doing and expecting what we've been expecting.  The times they are a changin', as must we, which will require more than selecting between option A and option B (fund this but don't fund that).

I look forward to sharing my priorities and maybe even trying to come up with altogether new options to those ends.

I agree. Options are too limited. The problem is complicated. We won't come up with the best solutions if we limit ourselves to simple choices.
